RTPI South West promotes planning as a profession and builds links with other built environment professions and organisations throughout the South West. We offer members a programme of affordable seminars and events to assist with their continuing professional development requirements, and also publish a regular newsletter for member
More than 2,000 planners from central, regional and local government, private consultancies, the education sector and other organisations are members of RTPI South West. We welcome the views and opinions of all our members, and we are always looking for volunteers to help with running our programmes.

Tiverton Pannier Market Enhancement Scheme
Submitted by Mid Devon District Council - Best entry in "Planning on the Ground" category and overall winner of the Philip Barclay Silver Cup. A award ceremony was held on 3rd March 2008 at Tiverton Town Hall with all entries and winners in attendance. Achieving Housing Volumes & Quality - 23rd January 2009 - The Brewhouse Theatre, Taunton.
